Pumpjack Dynamometer Tests

A dynamometer analysis simultaneously measures the load and polished rod positioning of a rod pumping system in order to determine:

1. Pumping unit's torques and loads.

2. Rod stresses.

3. Loading and efficiency of pumps.

Once these measurements are recorded, the well can be assessed for:

1. Speed of system.

2. Stroke length.

3. Gearbox, pumping unit, or rod string loading.
